The Two Bear Twins

In the vast forest there lived two bears that were twins. They were only born a month or two ago, and there mamma bear had left for a while to hunt for food. The two bears hid in a stone cave with a river just out side of the cave. Everyday they both wished and prayed to get a fish from that river. But them being Twins, they both made it a compaction. One day, the day there mom would come home with food, the two bear Twins made up a game were they had to got outside of the cave, and the first bear to catch a fish was the stronger and braver than the other. Their mom warned them not to run out of the cave. The two bears just ignored that at the time. As the bears got ready to run to the river, they both bared their teeth and roared. They were trying to show that each of them were better than the other. After about three seconds they were off. Both splashed in the water and diving to bite one of the fishes. But as the two got up to look in the river, they saw that the fishes had swam away. The first bear looked at the other and started clawing and roaring. Almost trying to say “You scared them away!” They both started arguing at each other. As they were doing so, Mamma bear had came home. The mom roared at them disappointed that they disobeyed her. She walked them both inside. As the two bears were walking they sort of realized that they didn’t know why they were fighting so much. They were twins after all, so they would have both have scared the fish and have never could get a fish. They both agreed they wouldn’t fight anymore.

Rad Reading-November

My book for the month was Blended by Sharon M. Draper. This book is about a girl named Isabella who’s having a hard time with her parents because they were newly divorced. Also as having problems with figuring out if people go by her as African American or white. Her parents are both different races, which has given this problem to her. She goes with each parent every week. Dads week is usually filled with shopping and piano lessons, but Isabella really likes it. And moms week is filled with fun bowling days, or hanging out with moms new boyfriend, John Mark. I liked this book because it tells me from another kids perspective what life can be with divorced parents, and/or that it shows a coming of age story. My favorite character is John Mark because he’s thoughtful. “This thing that happened at school, with your friend Imani, makes me sick to my stomach.” This shows how he cares for Isabella and what happens to her friends too. And he also likes looking out for her, for her mom. This is my favorite quote from Blended, “No I want to go,” I tell Mom empathicly. ‘I not gonna let one crazy person mess everything up”. I like this quote because it shows the side of Isabella that I can relate to.

Three Things I’m more than Thankful For

There are many things I would say that I am so grateful for, but I don’t want to keep anyone here, hearing mindless things that make me thankful. So I will just go with three. First off, Im thankful for anything my parents give me. They have spoiled me when I was a toddler, with toys and books, but they still do a little now. Mostly with clothes or books. Secondly, I am thankful for my grandmother always communicating with me in Spanish. Over the years I picked up the language, and has helped me engage with her easily. It has also encouraged me to learn Spanish by myself. Lastly, I could say that I am MORE than thankful for this, but Im thankful for quietness. If I didn’t have it, I would be loosing my mind. Because sometimes a thirteen year old girl needs a quiet space to rest in her day to day life.

My Number One Three wishes

If I had three wishes granted to me, I would use them wisely. My first wish would be to always have straight A’s and never have to worry about them. My grades are still good right now, but id much rather not worry about them. My second wish would be to be an actress and the youngest movie directer in the world. I do really want to be those two things when I grow up, but id much rather be them sooner than later. My last and final wish is for all my friends and family,(Including Me). To be happy for the rest of our live, and never have any other problems.
